Impact

CCBC turns potential into reality.

For higher education to be a pathway open to all, we need to remove the roadblocks to success.

Donor contributions help ensure that more students can access quality education, new programs and initiatives are developed to meet demand, CCBC can plan for the future of our constituents and that we can continue to invest in faculty, staff and infrastructure. Together we can help break down barriers and open doors to opportunity.

Student success and scholarships

Enhancing the student experience through academic, workforce and career services support.

Each year, more than 12,000 individuals complete their goals at CCBC. They earn degrees and certificates, valuable workplace certifications and transferring—often on scholarship—to four-year colleges and universities. With the support of individual donors, corporate partners and other foundations, our students excel.

Impact on faculty, staff and infrastructure

Enabling faculty and staff to improve learning, launch strategic partnerships and equip facilities with the latest educational tools.

When teaching is at its best, learning is even better. CCBC expanded its CDL training to address driver shortages. The program received a $721,000 U.S. Department of Labor grant, a $729,000 U.S. Department of Transportation veterans’ scholarship and private contributions from Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation and the Carhartt Foundation. CCBC added faculty, a new tractor-trailer and classroom space. We awarded 155 veterans scholarships, with women making up more than 1/3 of the students.
