Corporate and Foundation Relations

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations acts as a bridge between foundation officers and CCBC leadership and faculty.  We keep up with the latest trends in foundation donations and college priorities to ensure an aligning of goals.

Corporate and Foundation Relations  also aligns  corporate charitable priorities with CCBC's strengths, allowing our partners to achieve strategic objectives.

We can help:

  • Identify university programs and initiatives that advance your philanthropic mission
  • Connect our partners with university leadership and campus partners in the areas of research, extension, recruiting, economic development, and more
  • Amplify the impact of our partnership through media and other communication channels
  • Arrange and host campus visits between foundation representatives and MU faculty/staff
  • Assist with gift reporting and administration

We do this by:

  • Reaching out to foundation officials on a regular basis to proactively explore possible areas of synergy;
  • Developing and managing relationships with a broad array of foundations to ensure a diverse range of topics and opportunities are identified and cultivated;
  • Engaging with the campus community to stay informed of faculty projects and institutional initiatives that might align well with foundation interests; and
  • Working with leadership, faculty and administrators to develop and implement customized strategies for securing foundation support.

Recently, CCBC worked with the Maryland Department of Labor, Employment Advancement Right Now (EARN) to develop three training modules in partnership with five local health systems. The result was a 91% course completion among the pre-screened employee participants.
