Foundations of Watercolor (ART 672)

Learn how to execute a detailed line drawing, transfer it to the watercolor paper, and practice flat washes with round and flat brushes. Through discussions, learn to demonstrate and experiment with creating tints and complementary colors. Gain mastery through practice and realistically render one monochromatic and one full-color painting. Additional supplies will be discussed during first class.
