Is a studio art course that focuses on transitioning drawing and painting techniques from traditional media into a digital environment. Software packages designed for visual artists, as well as graphics tablets and associated input devices will be used in the art making process. Students will learn digital workflow and the numerous stylistic possibilities digital media affords contemporary artists through a series of conceptually driven assignments. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Corequisite(s): ARTD 111 or permission of the Program Coordinator Lecture Hours per week: 2 Lab Hours per week: 3.
