Introduces contemporary black and white still photography; emphasizes basic film camera skills and darkroom techniques as foundation necessary for advanced study in photography. Students are required to supply a 35mm film camera with adjustable aperture and shutter speeds. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): Students must have a working 35mm camera with manual functions and the option to interchange lenses Lecture Hours per week: 2 Lab Hours per week: .
