15 dual instruction flight hours (multi-engine airplane), 15 ground instruction hours, provides academic, flight and simulator training required for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Commercial Pilot Certificate, Airplane category, Multi- Engine (ME) class. Topics include pre-flight planning, specialty takeoffs and landings, commercial pilot multi-engine operations, maneuvers, instrument procedures, advanced navigation, slow flight, emergency procedures, safety, and post-flight procedures. A valid FAA Medical Certificate is required. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): AVMT 238 or approval of the Aviation Program Director.
Lab Fee: $4,800.00.

    Note: NOTE: This is a Late Start flight training course that begins on 02/26/24. Students in this course will attend flight training 2-3 times per week at their approved Flight Training Center. Students must attend Orientation on the first Monday of this semester, February 24, 2024, 9:00 AM - 11:55 AM, location will be announced via Brightspace 02/07/24. Permission from the Aviation Department is required to register. This course has an additional lab fee, refer to the college catalog. NOTE: This is a ZTC (Zero Textbook Cost) course
