Examine one of the most complex founding fathers in American History, Thomas Jefferson and his pursuit to establish an Empire of Liberty for the new American Republic. Analyze Jefferson from the Declaration of Independence to his service as a diplomat, his experiences in the first Presidential cabinet, as a political leader and as President of the United States. Highlight his domestic life and retirement years and evaluate his accomplishments, scientific research, and failures.
