Is a course that focuses on legal issues in early childhood, elementary, and secondary educational settings that impact students, administrators, and teachers. Students analyze constitutional, civil, and criminal issues arising in the educational setting, as well as address the contract rights of educators and the concept of collective bargaining. Emerging trends in early childhood, elementary, and secondary education settings are also covered. Course offered less than once a year. Same As: EDTR 127. Earn credit for one course only.
Prerequisite(s): ACLT 052 or ACLT 053 or (ESOL 052 and ESOL 054).
