Introduces students to frequently occurring psychosocial issues across the lifespan. Students identify and discuss the role of the occupational therapy practitioner in treating psychiatric diagnoses. Course offered once a year (fall or spring).

Prerequisite(s): Admission into the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Corequisite(s): OCTA 201 and OCTA 220.
