Examines the causes, diagnosis, assessment, symptoms, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders; includes historical and current theoretical perspectives, classification systems, cultural perspectives and legal/ethical issues. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): PSYC 101.
