Health Informatics and Information Technology

Where tech meets healthcare

Make an impact at the intersection of healthcare, data and technology.

Health Informatics and Information Technology (HIIT) is where cutting-edge tech meets patient care. Whether it’s managing electronic health records (EHR), improving how medical data is shared, or supporting clinical decisions with real-time data, this field is shaping the future of healthcare. At CCBC, you can be a part of it.

CCBC’s CAHIIM-accredited HIIT program offers both an associate degree in Health Informatics and Information Technology and a credit certificate in Medical Coding. Each of these programs will get you hands-on experience with healthcare IT systems and build a strong foundation in medical coding, preparing you to earn industry certification and step right into in-demand careers in hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, and beyond.
