The Gallery at CCBC Dundalk is honored to host Turner Station Historical Center to present an exhibition about Turner Station, a historic Black community in Baltimore County. The exhibit focuses on the history of Turner Station to create an essential understanding of local systemic forces that have shaped social, economic, and political inequalities in the Baltimore metropolitan area. It also endeavors to recover often marginalized voices and experiences, and offer a fuller, more accurate account of American histories.
We hope you can join us in celebrating the documentation of this vibrant community and the impact it has had on the history of the Baltimore area.
