Introduces the student to the basic theories, fundamental facts and problems associated with the science of criminology. Emphasis is placed on providing a systematic basis for the study of criminals and criminal behavior as related to the criminal justice system. Formerly offered as SOCL 202, earn credit for one only. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 or consent of the Department Chair.
