Studies the essential wellness practices as they relate to current concepts of preventive medicine; investigates the latest scientific findings relevant to the major diseases and causes of premature death in the U. S. This course is a globally intensive course that promotes intercultural competency and global awareness. Successful completion of this course contributes toward the 15 credits of globally intensive curriculum needed to earn the certificate of Global Distinction. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
Prerequisite(s): ACLT 052.
Corequisite(s): ESOL 054 or ACLT 053.
