Provides interpreting students with 250 hours of field experience through observation and supervised interpreting practice in a variety of settings. Students practice record keeping, invoicing, and interviewing skills in preparation for the workforce. Class meetings provide opportunities for discussion, debriefing, and planning practicum placements. A 3. 0 QPA in major coursework and documentation of 50 Field Experience Hours is required for course entry. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
