Learning About Contemporary Issues and Ideas (PFA 516)

Continuing Education Course

This course is designed to help the adult senior student increase his/her awareness about current issues and ideas that influence contemporary American society. The student will learn how to analyze and evaluate these issues and ideas through lecture, discussion, and debate. Topics to be covered include: racial-ethnic matters, economic conditions, political situations, cultural issues, and international issues.
