Introduces the study of language in veterinary medicine. The course includes word construction, definitions, and use of words in the veterinary medical field. Focus is placed on understanding terminology as it relates to veterinary medical disease processes and translation into medical records, which are legal documents. Course offered once a year (fall or spring).

Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Veterinary Technology program Lecture Hours per week: 2.
