Registered trade apprenticeships provide an accelerated career on-ramp.
Our skilled-trades apprenticeship programs are part of a structured training system in which you work full-time during the day for a sponsoring employer learning the skills of the trade, while consecutively completing classroom related instruction and earning college credits upon completion of the program.
Apprentices receive a structured pay scale and incremental wage increases as they become more knowledgeable and skilled on the job. There are both union and non-union apprenticeship programs.
Each apprenticeship offers a specialized program that will take from three to five years to complete, leading to a Journeyperson certificate. For many, there are opportunities to receive the classroom related instruction tuition and fees at no charge, but you may incur some costs for tools, books and materials.
