Transferring to CCBC as an International Student
Are you currently an F-1 international student attending another U.S. college or university? Make the smart choice and transfer to CCBC!
Being an international student at CCBC is a great thing. Unlike at other institutions, we are considered and given opportunities to advance our studies.
Follow these steps if you plan to transfer to CCBC from another U.S. college or university.
Complete the PDF version of our free application for admission.
We need a certified copy of your high school transcript in English.
Include copies of all I-20’s, passport ID, the I-94, and the visa pages in your passport.
We need official transcripts from all previously attended U.S. institutions.
Complete the transfer eligibility certificate from most recently attended U.S. institution.
Submit one of the following:
As an F-1 international student at CCBC, you will need to enroll in at least 12 credits at the out-of-state tuition rate.
Please provide original financial statements to verify sufficient funds. These statements must:

International students must submit their packet by the following dates:
Once we receive your application packet, an ISS counselor will review your application. Once approved, a CCBC acceptance letter, an I-20 and information about the I-901 SEVIS fee will be mailed. Upon receipt of the CCBC Acceptance Letter and Certificate of Eligibility (I-20), schedule an orientation and registration appointment with your assigned International and Immigrant Student Services Counselor.
