To be considered for financial aid, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year. The Department of Education uses your FAFSA to calculate your Student Aid Index (SAI). Your SAI determines how much aid you may receive.
CCBC’s FAFSA school code is 002063. The Catonsville address is listed, but it works for all campuses.

One application puts you in the running for CCBC scholarships along with state and federal grants. Unlike loans, scholarships and grants do not need to be repaid.
After you've applied for aid, we will be in touch through your CCBC email and SIMON, our student information system. Check both regularly so you do not miss any requirements that could delay your funding.
Once we have reviewed your paperwork, we will email you your award details. Any remaining aid after tuition and fees are covered will be directly deposited into your bank account. If your award does not cover your full balance, you are responsible for the difference.
To keep your financial aid, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards each semester. Review the SAP requirements before you register to make sure you stay on track.
