Next Steps for Degree or Certificate Students

You're in! Follow these steps to enroll and start your path toward academic success.

Welcome to CCBC! Now that you've applied, let us guide you through the enrollment steps to start earning college credit toward a degree, certificate or transfer.

Step 1: Submit additional documents

Send an official copy of your high school transcript, college transcript and/or GED scores to CCBC as described below.

You can also submit documents in-person at any Enrollment Services Center during normal business hours.

Online through Parchment (preferred) or Scribbles electronic delivery services.

If you're transferring to CCBC from another college or have earned credit through military or standardized exams, send your official transcripts using one of the options below.

To find out how your previous credits apply to your CCBC program, complete the Transfer Evaluation Request form. This will help you better understand which previously earned credits will count towards your CCBC program.

Step 2: Apply for financial aid

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your eligibility for federal, state and CCBC financial aid programs. CCBC's school code: 002063.

The FAFSA is available October 1 for the following year and can be submitted throughout the year. For priority consideration for Maryland state scholarships and grants, submit your FAFSA before March 1.
